What do people miss about their country of origin?

M&M's sold in Singapore are now made in China.

Even Toblerone, from what I'm led to believe as well.

M&M's in Singapore used to come from Australia. The Chinese made ones aren't good--heck, even Nips are better than those.

Not absurd property prices.

Found a 11k sqm piece of land for ~$120k.
Granted, it's up in the mountains in the middle of no where, and you gotta shit in a bucket but still, that's a huge piece of land.

Nice. I was in Kerala the first week of January for my daughter's traditional wedding ceremony. Beautiful countryside. Wish I'd have had more time to do some exploring the state. Maybe will get back there again, now that I have in-laws there.

That place athirapally falls is around 17 km from my house. when i was around 18 we used to plead my uncle to lend us his car and drive there. fun times of late its become a highly congested tourist spot. in the 90s it was almost desolate.

Hey! Iââ‚¬™ve been to Kerala a couple of times. Granted I have little to no recollection of it as I was maybe 5 years old.

For the green, when my father was posted to India and I was at university in England, I used to spend the summer holidays with my brother and friends in Menali setting fire to the local foliage there. You could buy a ball of mud for like 50 rupeesââ‚¬Â¦ bit of a shock when I had to back to England. Those days are well behind me now. I have more expensive tastes now.

wrong.. you can find vegemite. I'm certain I've seen it somewhere very recently in one of the major supermarkets.. (possibly AMK hub? can't remember where it was I saw it)

I've seen marmite but not vegemite from kraft foods, i love both vegemite and cheesy vegemite but I've never managed to find cheesy vegemite here
