Oct. 15th Holiday! Any plans yet??

Hello everyone!

As you may know, there is a holiday, Hari Raya Haji, coming up on Tuesday, October 15th! I have the day off and wanted to get out of the main city for a bit. I was thinking about going to Pulau Ubin, the little island to the north east.

It only costs $2.50 to boat over, and public transportation makes it easy to get to the docks. There is hiking, biking, beaches, and of course some little restaurants with refreshing Tiger Beer to top it all off. If anyone is interested in spending some time at this cool little island, let me know! Or if you have any suggestions on where to spend the day, I'm all ears.

Been trying to find a group to go there. Every single time I heard that there's a group, or I finally joined one, something else always comes up...

Well, I haven't gotten any news about it from earthvibez yet...but as long as it's not raining cats and dogs, I'm going there no matter what.

You can use mine and JustSee's (is okay, right?

) name to indicate who's coming. Dunno if earth is inside yet...

I'd like to put it in my thread here, but it's earth's event.

Well, 15 Oct, Tanah Merah MRT at 9 AM then. We'll proceed to Pulau Ubin afterwards.
I put the event's description from FB ['20's Looking for Friends' group]:

What you need to bring is
-A bottle of water
-Sunscreen
-Outdoor shoes (we're going to the wetlands)
-Mosquito repellent (just in case)
-$12.5 for bum boat and bike rent.

Akimbo will go, no matter what. I'll second that

I wonder how many people (or "people") will show up. No offense.
