Hi Nicole,
I contacted the BTSC if your a beginner there is currently a six month wait list. If you are already a rider then it's slightly shorter waiting time. The thing that put me off as an experienced rider is that if you are not a member then you can only ride in a group min three people. You pay $400 for 4 lessons if the group is 3 people or smaller then you will only get 30mins on the lesson. This is no good if you want to improve on your riding and get to know the horse if your experienced.
I have been going to the STCRC for the last three months you dont need a membership there, they do group and private lessons and the horses I have ridden or have seen are fantastic and well looked after. The staff are great especially Andrew for private lessons.
the price is very reasonable and you get you full 45mins and actually learn something. It works for me.
