Changing Coins

revhappy, I used to accumulate about $80/month just in $1 coins. But that came to a screeching halt when I quit smoking (they were still around 8-9/pack then) Now, I don't even go out to each lunch and I quit smoking 6 years ago. Rarely get any change at all now.

Coints are annoying, which is why I'm hoping that Food Republic goes the Kopitiam route and introduces its own payment cards... or at least starts accepting EZ-link.

Deposit the coins to a child savings account. Of you don't have children, get your friends to help. Charges are waived if you deposit into such accounts.
