What is the nightlife like in Singapore for a party animal?

Hehehehmmm... wow, '30 years later'.
Lived at Bodington Hall, then Regents Park Terrace (no. 10 or 12?) , giant houses but shambolic.
Then Brudenel Grove [43?]. I look at it now on Google Streetview and it looks like a world apart. More 'Bangla' than England. Though it was then, the poverty/destitution hasn't changed much.
