So ICA's answer is no, he is not too old to apply. Whether he's too old to be approved is a separate question, and only ICA knows the answer to that question.

i also hope to apply pr with wife. can i clarify this part on explanatory notes in form 4A

"Death certificate and divorce certificate and the custody papers for the children in respect of applicant's/spouse/s prevous marriages (if any)"

My wife is the dependent while I'm the main applicant. Does that sentence only refer to main applicant or does the dependent also need to produce divorce cert if she has?

sorry for hijacking the thread i want to check that part (g) Official Birth Certificates of children showing both parents’ names and child’s name and adoption paper, if applicable.

does the child birth cert requirement only applicable to present marriage or its also applicable for child from previous marriage?

is it ok if i do not possess my child's (from previous marriage) birth cert? i have moved on with my new family and he is staying with his mother (my ex-wife).

I'm not sure where you're getting "(g)." That's item (l) in the Explanatory Notes to Form 4A, isn't it?

It's reasonable to assume that item (l) refers to all children. If you don't have their birth certificates you don't have their birth certificates. However, Part D of Form 4A asks for their details, and part (m) in the Explanatory Notes asks for even more details. I would at least try to get all those documents.

As far as the English goes, you -> applicant, wife -> spouse. Therefore the answer is yes, you need to provide her divorce cert.
