Wait till you complete 2 to 2.5 years of marriage and then apply with your husband as the sponsor.
I just got my PR approved after an appeal. I received my rejection letter around May 2020 and we appeal last August 2020 after finding out I am pregnant.
I received my IPA today.
How long does the PR formalities usually takes? Just wondering so we can better plan if we can schedule it together with my ob check up.
I was wondering as well as i recently (last September 2020) had blood test done as part of my antenatal check up which already included HIV test. Can I use this result? It is within 3 months and can my OB fill up the medical exam part as he is the one who requested the bloodtest and the report was addressed to him?
Or can I get an A&E doctor/GP to do it and present my previous blood test report?
I work in a hospital
I am exempted from xray.
Thank you!
I think you can use the 2 months old result and show to a GP and ask him to certify based on that result. Must be OK I think.
On what grounds did you appeal and get the PR?
Thanks
Is the formalities going to take a few hours?
Just my pregnancy and would like to get an HDB.
During the appeal, the only different/new thing we were asked to submit is a certification letter from my OB to confirm my expected due date. The rest of the documents are normal like payslips, cpf contributions, etc. and my PLOC copy.

Is fast. Less than 45 mins to 1 hour

We have a 3 year old son, studying in a local preschool.
We've applied around 5 times before. 2 of these were before marriage, 2 times after marriage, and once after our son was born.
We live in an HDB, employ a helper. We have complete insurances (healthcare, life, critical illness, accident, what have you). We have 6 digits in the bank, no debts, some investments with local banks and roboadvisor. Not sure if these details would help, but we hope the govt will see we are stable here. What are our chances?

If nothing material has changed, why would you expect a different outcome?

Why not? It is all about quota and luck. Just like buying toto. If we don’t buy, there is no chance to win. If we don’t win, at least we have tried.

The key components to gain PR/Citizenships are economic contributions coupled with efforts to integrate, to live and interact with Singaporeans. I don’t make the rules.
Has the candidate showed efforts beyond the application form to exemplify these?

Yeah I am this candidate and I find it challenging to provide some proof of integration to Singapore. How to prove this beyond the application form is another question. We also don’t have any work achievements to be honest (our companies don’t give out such).

I am no gahmen spokesperson, but if you believed that Spore is an advanced surveillance state, they have their ways in finding out.

Hi all. Would like to ask a question what does it mean that someone's PR application will flow under "Others"? Is it the one where European Caucasian are being defined and how does impact the application?
Also the other question is:
If I learn Chinese does it matter to aplication?

Others mean your race is not Chinese or Malay I believe. Everyone else is under Others, making that category extremely competitive due to much lower chance of success in terms of quota.
Learning Chinese may demo your commitment to integrate, so why not? (you may need to show a certificate of some sort to prove level of proficiency though). Having said that, do things for the right reason, not just for an application. Thats when it works best. Just like volunteering - it has been overused to the point it’s no longer helpful in applications. However, if you have a consistent track record of volunteering for, say >5 yrs it’s still worth mentioning.
