EP Processing Time Feb 2021 / Mar 2021

My EP was applied on 24th Feb, approved on 22nd Mar.
Studied 4 years + working 2 years FMCGs in Singapore. The process is definitely longer compared to a few years back (waited less than 2 weeks for previous EP).

Correct. Applied on 8th Feb, I got to know just now they'd another query for which they submitted docs on 8th March.

Hmmm.. that's very tricky then. What's the timeline like with your new ep?

Somehow in my case, my current employer knows, as they tried to apply for my renewal before time without me being informed about it.

It was some business docs from company and explanation of why hiring this guy.

Did they also ask your company to verify your degree certificate if you didn't graduate from Singapore?

As far as I know, this is not the case. Not sure if they are doing it internally or my new employer is just doing it and haven't informed me about it.

Mine is just getting re-applied today after we heard back from the 3rd party MOM accredited agency. So fingers crossed that it'll take 3 weeks, as stated on their website.

Will update you in case there's anything else that may arise.

The auditing is done by MOM on my company but the HR strongly said they have enough quota and meet the other requirements as well hence wouldn’t be a problem. Advised to be patient and wait for the results

My E pass got approved and I have one question:

If my last working day at my current company is on Friday, can I start work on the next Monday directly? Assuming my current employer cancel my pass on Friday and at the same time my new employer proceed with the issue of pass.
Does it work that way?

Congratulations guys... mine is still pending

31320- Once HR cancelled your pass then they will immediately issue you STVP which will allow you to stay in Singapore for 30 days. And yes you can join the company next day or any other day you can decide by taking confirmation from your new employer.
