You might be a CECA entry, but majority of us arent; have you considered that?

I am in awe of your logic
So posting something which is being inaccurately peddled in FB,ST,etc must be peddled further (which btw the Singapore government actively advocates against and takes people to task on) because it must be true, is it? Why stop there? There are more abusive ones too, who draws this line?

Or is it because you are CECA, you want to brand everyone as one, so you dont have to face the online wrath alone?

Again, all I am asking is to be respectful to people on online platforms. I dont think its an unreasonable ask.

But also, putting it humbly, you are not the only person reading these threads. There are potentially thousands of people who read them and I'll let them make their own judgements whether they want be treated with respect or not.

Make an educated guess, whether the gahmen will keep PR approvals constant for Indian nationals or slow them to a trickle, given the groundswell at present, and the possibility of a few more seats on a silver platter to WP/PSP in 2025

Given the current political climate I thought the hot topic being contended is foreigners-taking-the-jobs, so I believe its the EP numbers that will trickle down and thats probably the knob the gahmen might use for political purposes.
I dont think the 2200 PRs distributed per year to Indians matter much in the wider scope of things.
What are your thoughts?

No. Hopefully by the time you get to 100 posts, your skin may (maybe?) get a little bit thicker as at the moment you are pretty thin-skinned. You won't get far that way and you probably actually have something to contribute, but trying to alienate everybody before you have even started isn't the way to go. There isn't any racism here. Believe me, I came from a country famous for it. In fact, I was present at the very first modern day race riot in the US in Cambridge MD in 1964. it was only 16 miles from my home. What we do here is basically camaraderie and friendly banter. If you cannot see the difference you really are only 32 years old and walking around with a gen z attitude.

2011 elections - they lost aljunied grc
Sticking point was too many PRs were dished out prior, (some KTV hostess/masseuse were found out to be PRs)

2015 elections - healthy majority restored
LKY’s passing

2020 elections - bad by all counts, given that covid shld have wiped out all of the opposition
Sticking point - foreigners and the beginning of the ceca debate

And the ceca debate is gaining traction/steam/momentum and etched into locals minds

Also, the numbers, while not large, when concentrated more or less in only two industries with an overlap between the two appearances are worse than the actual number suggest.

Nobody is encouraging anything. However, this expat forum has outlasted all others and has been operating nicely for 18 years now. So, my seriously friendly advice is quit tilting at windmills and relax. Or don't let the door hit you in the butt on your way out. Go to Hardwarezone or somesuch and see how far you will get.

Interesting, but I mean after the recent FT-debate in the Parliament, I almost found no support for the PSP-opposition leader in the social-media. His arguments were shallow and under-prepared. I hope atleast some of his supporters were able to see through the political-picture he was trying to paint earlier?

I really dont understand whats the concern being raised?
I literally pointed at casual-racism, when you threw words like I need 100 posts to grow thick skin against racism?
I am being respectful, and making my requests respectfully, in return this is what you wrote earlier about me:
"He's one of the new breed who walk around with a chip on their shoulder and no real purpose in life other than taking offense at everything."
I am sure being a moderator must give you a lot of power, but as they say, it comes with great responsibility.
