"Proceed to upload documents" button is missing in ICA Website

Apologies for causing confusion.
He was a Pr first and then got married and had a son. Applied under family ties. Don’t know other details ( length of marriage etc ) and it was his second attempt to apply for his wife.

PR and SC applications are always approved or rejected in full. This post says that the husband got the PR when he was single and the dependent wife and kid later in a new application for PR were rejected.

Not always. My SIL (Indon-Chi) and her 3 boys (M’sia passports) got approved for SC last year without her PR husband (M’sian-Chi).

Her boys are very brainy (and yes, they did ask to see the kid’s results).. one is already accepted into NUS and doing NS, another is doing IB at ACSI and the other is in Raffles.

I think you are answering a different question? Can family members be approved for SC with another family member not applying? Vs. Can five family members apply, ICA approves four and rejects one? I believe the comment above is that the latter doesn't happen (to the best of everyone's knowledge).

Gotcha, yeah - I confirm that my SIL applied without the husband. Now, had she applied without the 3 boys, I am guessing her chances of approval would have been close to nil.

Hi, both ways doesn't work for me. I still can apply PR again without mentioned that still got existing applications... etc etc and when i make a declaration for medisave, it shows that only PR can etc etc...

I felt so sad. Most probably rejected is 99%

Results still haven't come out but i felt so exhausted. But till now I really hopes that my PR is approved eventually i know is possible

Hi Everyone,

Good Morning!! I have been following posts in this Forum and they are really helpful. We are Indians staying in Singapore from 2012 and both husband and Wife working on EP. We have 2 kids both boys and younger one born in SG and age 5 and 2 yrs old. Just want to check on our case if you can help us to provide your thoughts. We applied PR in Dec 2022 and our upload document button disabled on 15th June 2023 and 2 hours before this we got call from ICA officer asking to upload passport back copies. As my husband know that we uploaded all documents earlier so he explained officer where to look for documents and he was able to find them out and also my passport will expire in October and i have got the new passport already and when my husband asked him whether to send my new passport details he mentioned that we can just change it at the counter itself and he said no pending action from us and will finalize decision on Thursday itself. Did any one been in to the same situation earlier. Will ICA call directly instead of asking through website or email? How long does it take to get the result after button is missing? What are our chances of Approval?

They can call and as long as you have replied by uploading in the ICA website it should be ok. You will likely have the outcome in 2-3 weeks. Looks positive though, but surely wait for the final outcome.

Hey guys, just a little update. My button disappeared last Monday 12-Jun, and then the CFP shortcut disappear last Friday on my Singpass, today I login to Singpass and found that the CFP shortcut re-appeared, then I tried to proceed and found out that I could finally proceed to where I couldn't before, and there's a ICA reference number(different than the PR application ref no.) instead of saying I'm not a PR so I'm not eligible, does it mean my PR got approved?
