LTVP Approval Chances

Post by SK1120# » Mon, 17 Nov 2025 1:49 pm

Hi everyone,
I am SC, female (23 years old), NUS graduate. My spouse is foreigner - Indian (23 years old). We applied for PMLA and it was successful. We have completed our ROM. I am currently in a contract job (Apr 2025-Apr 2026). I earn 4.2k per month. My spouse has a bachelors in engineering and just started working in a new job (one month) as a network engineer. We will be applying for ltvp end Nov. What are the chances of our LTVP being successful? Will it be affected as I am on a contract job? Any advice will be really helpful. Thanks in advance!

PMLA was approved, that is your best indicator that LTVP will be successful. Your salary is in the expected range for a fresh graduate, and I reckon it should be enough.

I assume your husband is working in India? If he was already in Singapore working on a pass of some sort, he isn’t required to move to LTVP.

Thank you for your reply!
Yes, my husband is working in India currently and has not worked in Singapore before. He has been here two times on visit pass and I regularly visit India. We've been together for 6 years and tied the knot this year.

Our only concern was my job since the contract will end in Apr 2026. Was wondering if that will be a problem.

As long you remain employed while LTVP is being processed, should be okay. So get it done ASAP.
