Singaporeans are now more aware of whats going on compared to 2 decades ago. Information is now accessible easily, especially events not reported in the media. Better informed people make better choices, especially where the upcoming GE is concerned.

Maybe I can say that you are clueless about your situation. After the next GE, the perks you are enjoying now as a foreigner (assuming that you are a foreigner) are going to disappear just like your arrogance.

Enjoy while you can! It's not going to last.
