Jobs for Indians

Post by chixchix » Wed, 21 Oct 2009 8:15 am

Hii all my relative is here on a social visit pass and is trying to get a job here. She has done MA, BA, B Ed, Msc. Has got lots of sales experience in the Banking & Finance industry.

Is there any agency that she can go to , to apply for a job or is there any Indian headhunter out there that you know ?

Thanks !
Always have a smile on that face!

Right now? Just choose pot luck. All are going to have a difficult time at the moment due to the tightening up of criteria by MOM. By all means, submit to all the online job boards and do a search of employment agencies in Singapore and submit to any & all only submission sites or email addresses that they can find. Be wary of any agency that claims that for a fee they can find a position as collecting fees from Job seekers is illegal in Singapore as the clients (company) pays any recruitment fee.

Who knows, they might get lucky.

It is 2009 and gonna be 2010 in few days. If there are racial prejudices in the private sector then you would not have more than foreigners making 20% of the total population.

I read in the forum elsewhere that you are 28 yrs old & lived here all those years  and I seriously start to doubt that

U dont know about this country well, What u see are on the surface

basically this country will do anything to survive its GDP...

If PAth A (equal opportunities for all) they took is ideal but doesnt work any more to contribute to GDP then they will take path B ( unequal opportunities)
in the name of state. of cos this is just an example

this is a classic trait of totalitarian regimes.

The state comes above all citizens or foreigners.

When they first heard about this GDP thing, it was "crew expendable". The next time they brought in foreigners - they were expendable too. What makes you think they're gonna care about a bunch of lifers who found solace at some forums like this one? You really think they're gonna let you interfere with their plans? They think we're - we're crud. And they don't give a f*ck about one friend of yours that's - that's died. Not one.

get that in yr f$cking head numskulls

U think its some kind of paradise here. I am sorry for u, there is no paradise on earth, just that some "look" more paradise than others.

yr 20% of the population does not say a ting about quality, of living, job prospects or any other matter

Govt only cares about saving the economy and cheaper faster and better...

u think they give a sh&t about u or any prejudices u face while u are here?

wake up yr f&cking idea!

Nah, we just feel sorry for you that's all. You sound like you are talking with half a snoot full early in the day. Liquid lunch was it? The only thing that you seem to lack it the knowledge that ALL countries are the same that way. Only the GDP counts. You are just a worker/drone. Like 99.99999% of the population. You live, you procreate (if you are lucky - with your attitude, that's not likely to happen), you enjoy some small pleasures and you die. Nobody promised you any more unless your parents were extremely dense or brainwashed.

So, I guess, for you, it's well overtime for a reality check. Welcome to life. Now grow up and stop whining like a 2 years old. From what I've read, most of your problems seem to be of your own doing.
