Hi Ladies, I found a great Thai restaurant at Great World City. One of their promotions is Wednesday Ladies Only at 40% off for lunch and dinner! Free shuttle to Great World from Orchard Rd. next to Marriott as well as Chinatown MRT at Upper Cross St. Let me know if anyone's interested. -Jen B.

Hi Girls,
I (31F) just moved to Singapore from London 6 weeks ago with my husband. He's currently working and I'm not, so I'm looking for some girlfriends to socialise with. I've met a few really nice girls through the forum (see "She's Creative" thread) and would like to meet a few more.
Smarten - YCFE sounds like a great idea - when is the next get together?
Nijn34 - I haven't seen much of Singapore, so would like to join you for a Tuesday morning walking tour. Are you meeting this Tuesday?

Heya Jen, looking for cool girlfriends to hang out with. I'm down for Thai dinner whenever you guys want to schedule it. Wednesday nights are always good. Here's hoping to make new friends.

Hi Ladies,
This Friday (tomorrow, sorry about that) it's going to be Starbucks at Bugis Junction. The adress is: 230 Victoria Street, #01-15
There is a mall or little street which is called "Bugis Junction". There is a funny splashing fontain and next to that is the Starbucks. Let's meet outside.
Comming from the MRT you need to walk a little bit, for Olivia and Sharon I think the driver will know the Bugis Junction'. Olivia, do you still have my hp number, if anything you can call.
Looking forward to see you!

Hi,
I'm a 26 year old "lady of leisure" with no kids and originally from Australia. Hubby and I've been here for two years now and as I'm sure you're all familiar with making friends and then losing them when their stint in Singapore comes to an end.
I'm a bit of a girly girl, loves a good bottle of wine, pasta, everything to do with homewares and travelling. I'd love to meet some more girlfriends
Drop me a PM.
I can't make it to the meet tomorrow but would love to stay in the loop for the future.
G.

Ladies,
Notice that you girls have regular coffee gatherings, today i found a little treasure and would like to recommond to all of you. Why don't you take few MRT stops more to Vivo city(Harbour front), on the 2nd floor close to the ocean side there is a very nice Pacific coffee. I accidentally found it today and had lunch there. It is the best coffee place I found since I stay in Singapore (atmosphere-wise.... not coffee-wise)
They have a almost garden like outdoor area (with cover and some ceiling fans), a lot of nice chairs and even few swing couch! Can you imagine that you sit there with some ocean breeze through your hair and Bob Marley music (well.... their music choice today). The best part is.... it is not busy at all! I guess not a lot of people have found this coffee place yet cause it is a bit difficult to find. But i can tell you, it is GOOOD! I will certainly stop by there more often in order to get away from the Singapore crowd.

I agree, this is a great place especially the outdoor seating area. FYI - it gets very busy around lunchtime (office workers) and on weekends.
Great suggestion though
