Hi- I am brand new to Singapore, just relocated here Canada, my husband is working, I am not, so I have lots of time on my hands- looking for some friends to explore the city, chill for drinks/coffee or perhaps even a tennis partner, etc.
I love the outdoors/sports, love wine and of course, shopping.
Anyone interested in meeting up for a coffee or seeing some sights, I am wide open!
Don't have a cell phone quite yet....
Later,
Jen

Hi Jen,
How are you? Settling down well in Singapore?
Let me tell you more about me.
I'm Dutch but would love to meet non-Dutch. I'm 35 years old and moved to Singapore 1,5 years ago with my husband. I work parttime at the moment, 2 days a week. We have no children yet.
I'm looking for a friend to go for a walk, a spoiling mani-pedi (but I'm not a girlie girlie girl!) or just to go for a coffee to Starbucks.
What are you looking for? And tell me more about yourself!
Hope to hear from you,
nijn34

Nijn, here I see you again. Just posted a reply on the one with the subject Dutch tutor. I'm also new in Singapore and would like to meet new friends. If you'll meet, let me know (
[email protected]) and I'll be there.
Cheers, Margriet.

Hi Girls,
Seems like most of you are new to town... you may want to check out the "looking for some girlfriends" thread started by shescreative. We're an eclectic bunch - some working, some studying, some here with boyfriends/husbands and some in between.
We've been trying to organize more get-togethers recently. If you're keen, pop in, drop us a line and try to clear your Thursday night since we're planning another ladies' night out.
Hope to see y'all soon.
Maya

Yes, let's meet!
Maybe Friday the 6th at 11:00am Starbucks at Orchard Road?
Starbucks: next to the Borders in Wheelock place. There are 2 Coffee Beans around the Borders, but if you walk to the Orchardside and walk a bit past the former DBS-bank and look down, you'll see Starbucks.
The Weelock place is the mall really close to the Dutch ambassy.
Please let me know if you come (so I don't end up being all alone....

)
How to recognize....we'll put our handbags ON the table and sit outside?
Hope to see you!

Ladies- would love to meet up, but will be in Vietnam Fri-Mon- one year wedding anniversary trip! Have fun without me, but would totally be up to coffee next week sometime!
Let me know what day works best for all of you, maybe we can do lunch somewhere or go out exploring somewhere, ,ie. Chinatown, Little India, etc...
Ciao!

Hi, I'm new to this site and delighted to have found you so I might come along too. I've been in Singapore for 6 weeks - moved here with my husband's job. And I'm slowly going out of my mind with boredom.

For using the B word Sharon...
I used to think only boring people got bored...I believe different now...its amazing what we take for granted at home...
Really looking forward to the meeting this Friday at SB.

WOOHOO! Have made contact with the outside world. Thanks for the replies Liv and Olivia. I am Scottish - but very familiar with Oz as my husband is Australian, we got married in melbourne in Jan. We'd been living in London for a couple of years, before that Scotland, before that Melbourne so not unfamiliar with moving and setting up a new life - just finding it a bit tougher here for some reason.
