I'm 25, male, working in trading, finance. As it's quite stressful during the week, I like watching movies and hanging out during weekend to balance things out. I think there's nothing better than having friends to share and discuss good movies.

Hey - I see it was quite a few weeks ago you posted this, but I am sorely missing people to listen to my overly critical (and occasionally, overly gushing) appraisals of the latest movies. While I'm no stranger to just going to cinema on my own, I'm likely to be doing that quite a lot here in Singapore if I don't do something about it.

Alright Alright Alright ( If you get it). What movies are you guys looking forward to ? I'm hyping up for Spectre, Star War and The Hateful Eight . The Good Dinosaur is potential as well. Sicario is really good right now !

I'm just back from seeing Everest ... and still smarting at how cheap the tickets are here in Singapore compared to the UK!

Since everyone's seen Sicario except for me, I'll seek that one myself - but Bridge of Spies and Crimson Peak popped up this week, and I'd quite like to scratch them off my list.

So, I guess it's really just the big Hollywood films that make an appearance over here (western ones, that is)?

If it looks like we could get a little group together this is possibly something we could do weekly ... get together, catch the latest film whenever suits everyone. Where is everyone (home/work) and we might all be able to find some common ground. I'm Joo Chiat/Chinatown, for the record.

There is also Netflix's "Beasts of No Nation", which is incredible about african warlords and child soldiers. But it's a bit rough to watch.

Lets see if we can get more people interested in upcoming movies.
