Hi all,
I wonder if someone would be good enough to give me some advice?
I'm moving to Singapore soon but will be without a car and before I find permanent accommodation I was planning on staying temporarily somewhere in order to assess my surroundings. Could you advise the best place to stay in Singapore with regards to easy transport to CBD, good nightlife etc. I really need to be 'in the thick of things' so that I can get a good feel for where I want to live permanently.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Spring Grove and
Regency Park gets my votes! For its centralized location to the city centre.
It's near Orchard Road and anywhere in Singapore.
