1. Wondering if ICA is still assessing PR applications during this special period.
2. What do y'all experts think about my chance this time:
- My 4th application, result pending since early Sept 2019
- My last application was made in Feb 2018 (rejected after 6 months' waiting)
- Nationality/ Race : Chinese/ Chinese
- Other particulars: -
35 yo
Male
Single with no kids
EP holder
B.A. in Accountancy and Finance (studied in Malaysia)
ACCA
Singapore Chartered Accountant
Singapore Accredited Tax Professional (relate to my work)
Monthly basic pay: 6k ++
Have been working in SG for 11 years

Wow, 11 years and no PR even after 4 applications? That's pretty surprising to me actually. I hope it goes better for you this time around, but you know... with the economy being what it is thanks to COVID-19, I imagine it's not the best time to apply. I hope I'm wrong though.

I was also thinking the same SF.

oh that's better than what i thought ... i was thinking it could be very slim chance around 10% - 20% (on the basis that i am not married). now it is more than 8 months already .. wondering if ICA has stopped all PR assessment during Covid 19 period...

i received a letter from ICA.
It tells me that the processing time will take longer during Covid 19 situtation than the normal average 4-6 months. It is system-generated letter without signature.
