gucci authenticity

Hi....just recieved a Gucci bag as a present....however not too sure if its real or not.....
not nice to ask giver....so wat are the sure signs....

anyway on that note...bought a Gucci bag myself few months ago, ask it to be wrapped in the boutique...it was wrapped in a cardboard package....heard from fren that all bags come with a box....is that true?

bring it to the shop....they'll tell u....

try not to go to the taka branch..bad experience with snooty people there..
i prefer the one at paragon...

don't think all bags come with boxes, they usually just provide dust bags.

i got a nice box but that was because they said it's not a bag, its a cosmetic pouch, so it came together with the gucci box.

otherwise, with normal handbags, they just provide you with the dust bags

Tag embossed with serial number. Comes with dust bag. There is an authencity sticker still stuck to its. Only items purchased from local Gucci boutiques will have the sticker

Items purchased from parallel importers will not have the sticker and are definitely not authentic

according to the boutique, not all bags comes with care card
