Welcome to the island. There are a lot of French and Japanese expat circles you can engage with; both groups are friendly, but in different ways.

Personally, I’ve found it easier to connect with Japanese — the ones in Singapore tend to be more open-minded and curious… whereas the French tend to stick with what they know.
