U mentioned your hubby will be an expats.
That means you are a citizen.
Then you will be able to register your business.
Still there are several buisness types, sole proprietor, partnership, pte ltd, etc..
You did not state where do you live or where your home office will be,
for home base you need to apply a permit for URA or HDB.

and to register a business Visit:

Jewelry making supplies, you did not state what is actual type of supplies so I can't really advice you.
there are conditions for home base business.
e.g.
1. U cannot keep stock/products at home.
2. u cannot have streams of customers that will inconvenient your neighbourhood.
you can read about it on the above links.
Can I know what kind of supplies you are dealing with?
let me know if the above is helpful or PM me if you need more information.
Cheers.
Thank you for your response.
My husband will have an employment pass and I will be his dependant.
The supplies that I deal in are varied, but mainly AAA quality semi-precious beads, genuine silver bali beads/pendants....all of which are imported.
I will be living in private housing, i.e a
condo.
I do plan on having a web outlet, which I currently run but I WOULD like to do shows.....anyone familiar with the hotel ballroom shows?
I looked up the website links posted, and having read and reread my understanding is that:
1. I need to apply for an employment pass in order to have a business.
2. supplies can be stored in a home if it does not use more that 10 cu ft of space.
I know that there are many expat wives who do some sort of home business...how are they going about it?
Thank you
