I am trying to estimate budget for comfortable living for family of 3 (2 adults + 1 3yo). I assume: kindergarten: ~1500SGD/mo - English classes...

Having lived in both newer ( 15 years). Here's some disadvantages of older homes:

- Pest problems (as share by one of the posters)
Had a scare...

Yes proper maid room and tennis courts..
with newer condos there aren't always tennis courts.
