Just a thought - Christmas Spirit

Post by dudevinod » Sun, 03 Dec 2006 12:55 pm

MBA's - why don't we do something for charity together - like for the SHARITY organization - making some poor child's wish come true - or doing something for the needy.

I am sure KING AJIT can look into it and come up with a few suggestions and all of u can come up with ideas, if any.

I know we all do take our sweet time in responding to messages and posts on social gatherings - however, i truly hope - we can looking beyond ourselves and take some time out for those who are not as fortunate as us.

This is the least we could do in showing our appreciating for what life has bestowed to us.

List out your names if you are on and we will brainstorm and come up with something for the 20th of Saturday - to do something for the needy

Dear Vinod,

Good Show dude !! Now that's what i call really cool !!

I really appreciate your concern for children. Actually I just saw this mail today and I second your idea.

Vinod I am sure you will agree to me "Bharat" being quoted as a developing nation has got many more number of children who need such aid.

I do have a couple friends who are doing a real good jon in this direction. If you are genuinely concerned and would like to do something then I am with you in this ordeal and I can definitely talk to my friend and we can work out something.

let me know.
Yours friendly neighbourhood,

Hi i would love to be involved

Hi Buddy!

I would love to be involved. I am doing my lil bit thru some govt organizations such as salvation armay and World Vision.. but i would rather do something more direct asiknow..40-60% of the funds are used for running the org (paying salaries, admin, etc) and a very small percentage reaches the needy.

Furhtermore, i would rather be involved in doing something.. even if i have to be in touch with the recepients or visit them once a year or monitor their education.

I would not mind sponsoring a couple of kids educaiton -subject to its genuinely going for the right cause.

Let me know..

best regards,

Vinod

I think sponsoring a child's education is the best thing u can do for children.

I do my bit in a local school near my house in India which caters to poor children and all the fees and books are paid by donors and they also provide snacks and pocket money for the kids.

I wont be here on the 20th but I would love being a part of it next time and ofcourse for this event if there is any help needed I am game.
The best place to find a helping hand is at the end of your own arm
