My brother and I had eczema eversince we were babies. I kinda grew out of it but my brother still has it. We've had treatment in Singapore throughout ourwhole lives and we've found out there the only kind of medication for eczema is steriods. We've been to the Skin specialist at the Skin Centre, but all they have are steriods, both oral and topical. I'm not sure if you are keen on the idea of putting your child on steriods. Another alternative is TCM or putting your child on a salicytates free diet. I've seen it work for many people. Works better than steriods anyway.

Hi,
My daughter has eczema as well. The doctors from skin centre and GP just provide us with steriods to apply on her. But I heard some negative feedback about steriods so I stop using it. Instead I used GAIA products - skin soothing lotion which works very well on her. Now, I just applied the skin soothing lotion on her after her bath & it works pretty well.
Rgds,
Irene

Hi,
You can find GAIA products at John Little at Specialist shopping center, Guardian pharmacy.
The products are from Australia. I suppose most of the Guardian pharmacy do carry.

Hi ,
My son has eczema since birth. He just turn four two months ago.
The only one month that he has clear & smooth skin was during our stay in Shanghai for a month in Nov 06.
All the eczema that use to stay on his face & body all this while just vanish within a week . I believe the weather there helps a lot.
His eczema surface again upon returning.
We have to keep those spots clean by cleaning it often & pat dry it . The kids sweat a lot here in Singapore so proper cleaning of the face & frequent washing of hands will help.
You can also try this steroid free product prescribe by doctor , ELIDEL
(pimercrolimus) cream 1 %. Hope this helps.

Was rather disappointed as I thought supporting a local brand. Bought their keyboard 6 months ago and now it's spoilt. Many keys are not functioning....

Yup, learned the hard way too. Gamer products are over rated and over priced.

I never buy skin care from e-commerce platform. I do sometimes buy those parfume (with mindset that it must be fake because of the super low price)...
