We are an international dragonboat team, united by an extraordinary sporting spirit, great friendships and shared activities. We have members of diverse nationalities and races! We are always on the lookout for new members. If you would like to try Dragon boating for the first time or if you are a experienced paddler, you are welcome to join our team. New members enjoy their first month of paddling without obligation. Come and try Dragon boating with the German Dragons - it is sure to be an experience you won't soon forget! After training we get together at the beach of Kallang for a beer. We also do regular BBQs and brunches at Paulaner (our main sponsor), and many more activities!

Hi Flyings!

We always wear life vests on board. Usually the boat is stable and the only contact you have with water is that of the paddles splashing up. However, there is no guarantee.

We do have had 2 cases that the boat capsized or was so full of water that it sank (with us inside) during the races - the life vest helps, and our big experienced swimmers will tend to those that are afraid of the 'deep' water or are not experienced swimmers.

We will advise you to wear your life vest at all times, but we cannot take over responsibility.

Thank you to talk at large about the safety issue. I just took two courses.
but i'd like to try. I had much fun in the water rafting in Bali. I think dragonboating must be exciting too. I'd like to have a try.
