Hi All,
I am an American who just move to Singapore this week (from Hong Kong) and would like to make some friends who are interested in learning Spanish or Portuguese from me and I am also interested in improving some of the languages used in the places I go for work (Japanese/Korean/Mandarin/Cantonese). I'd also be interested in having some friends here who are native speakers.
Saludos,
Marc

Do you speak any other foreign language? What's your native language where you come from then?

Bostonian1981, perhaps I should have been more specific in addressing my question.

My question was directed to harveerk, not you.

Hello, I am Cuban-American, and I just moved here about a month ago from the states, with my husband. I wouldn't mind getting together and learning portuguese, and also any native language like mandarin. I know that there is a group that meet together every other Friday and I believe the name of the group is Abrazos (Hugs), I don't know if you could be interested in looking it up, I believe they are setting up a meeting for this Friday, Jan 18th.
