Beach volleyball Tanjong beach, Sentosa SAT 8th March 2PM

Ok, it's getting a bit late in the week so I thought I'd make a post. Due to the huge event organised by Singapore Management University that took over virtually the entire beach last weekend, we ended up playing at the far end of the beach amongst the trees! Hopefully we won't have to resort to that again. Although it did mean we got to listen to terrible (karaoke?) music pumped out of the speakers by the live "band" on the stage next to us. But on the plus side we got far cheaper drinks at the drinks/food tent than we would have got from KM8. I still don't know why they were intent on selling us San Miguel every time?!

Anyhoo, we'll be there again this Saturday, rain or shine!! Any newbies PM me your mobile (HP) numbers in case we don't end up in a very obvious place. As usual, if you need further instructions/directions on getting to KM8/Tanjong beach PM me and I'll send you my number and send you more info.

And how about Lynn, Lili and Julia? Are you girls coming to play?
Lynn, you can bring Dustin and Karla too (if they are willing). Come on, we haven't seen you at the beach for several weeks...

LOL. I guess that after 3 Sundays in a row going to the movies some people consider it a regular event.

Actually, I was thinking of going for brunch on Sunday, so I'll send you the link and you can decide if you want to come or not.

You're welcome, girlie. We're so used to having beach volley every Saturday that a weekend without going to Sentosa would be unthinkable. That only happens when we are away, which will be the case for the next two weekends.

Feel free to drop on over. Do you know where to come? PM me if you need directions or a mobile number to SMS/ring if you get lost or can't find us. Otherwise just look for a group of loud people in beachwear next to KM8.

In answer to your question, there really is no qualifying criteria, just show up!!

Hi Slaloraya,

We should be playing on the court right next to KM8 bar (it's quite obvious, believe me). I'll be wearing a baseball cap with "NZ" on it and beach shorts and sunglasses. You'll be able to spot me because I'll be one of the whitest on the beach. Failing that I've PMed you my mobile number.
