Something Different this weekend, May 10-11

Post by p&d&c » Wed, 07 May 2008 11:27 am

Helo CGC, senior members, newbies,

It has been a while since I last posted. Trust most of you r having a good time.

HortPark, a national initiative under NParks, will be having official opening ceremony by the Prime Minister on 10-11 May 08. There are many fun filled activities for you to engage in such as guided tour, how to make recycled plant container, grasshopper weaving, learn a fruit, etc, for individuals, kids and families. Whats is more important is that it is FREE!! which otherwise would be charged on normal days...

so, want to do something for the mother earth? do something to nurture a greener passion.

more info is avalaible at www.nparks.gov.sg. do register to avoid disappointment.

cheers! hope to see some of you there...cna, epl, lc, poohbear, jun, kk, brice, clayx, javer, ....

Be patient toward all that is unsolved in your heart. Do not now seek the answers, which cannot be given you because you would not be able to live the questions now... Perhaps you will then gradually, without noticing it, live... into the answer ~Rainer Maria Rilke~

Not sure if others have the same feelings I do - most of old CGC members(well, not age, I mean those joined some years ago) had built up friendships and knew each other well through those golden years of CGC Hoobastank mentioned, it is just hard for newbies like us to get involved nowadays since we seldom see memebers initiate activities.

I want to try and be the initiator, but *sigh* "have heart don't have energy" most of the time because of my crazy travel schedule (and because I don't know Singapore well and don't know where to go. :P )

Anyway, I want to give it a try on the Black Friday next month and see if I'm really that "black"... Yes, it needs to be Jun 13th as that's the date I finish all my travels and back to Singapore.

Will create a subject on this meeting soon when I figure where to go, Suggestions welcome. Thanks
