Hello, everyone!

Hi, I am a Hong Kong guy. I will be coming to Singapore in late June to take up a positon at Biopolis in July. Just to see if I can meet and make friends with some Hong Kong or Cantonese-speaking buddies there. :)

It is hard for me to say anything for Hong Kong to Singapore because I am actually moving in from somewhere else, not Hong Kong. I guess you can look for some companies in Hong Kong that help emigrants move their stuff to their destination.

i used a company called relocasia...they're a consultancy service and partners with other moving company to arrange the packing and shipment for u....

having said that, u can also hire a moving company directly...most major moving companies have offices in HK...one of them being Crown

I used Crown last year and I'm very satisfied.

I'm not sure what time in July you're planning on the actual move, but now should be about time you make up your mind on the mover because before they pack, they need to come and evaluate and you have to do filings and surveys. My experience was It's not easy to get a booking on Sat. Most movers charge extra if you need them to come & pack on Sunday/Public Holidays.

The shipment itself takes around 4 weeks.

Hey guys,
Take Panini's word for it! If she's happy with the service, it's got to be excellent!

See you in a few days, Panini!
