Rental contract goes wrong

I signed a HDB contract with the LL directly. But figure out there is no approval/permittion from the government regarding the rental. Means, I paid something which is illegal and might be kicked out anytime.

Any suggestions? can i asked my deposit from the LL and move?or what shall I do...

Bro.. people get caught mainly is because the neighbours complain. As long as you are low key/friendly.. you dun have to worry.
