Hindi Karaoke Party 'n drinks

Post by Ram08 » Thu, 25 Dec 2008 3:34 pm

Hi All - how about a get-together at my place for Hindi Karaoke - I have the set-up and we'll just need people to join in. Based on how many are interested we can plan something soon.

Hi Ram

Myself / Ajit & Shankar L have been trying for sometime to create activity in our neighbourhood. So we basically have to fix a date & time.

how about this weekend? if we fairly announce in advance, guess we should be able to mobilise a decent gathering.

tonite would have been great .. but we can always make a belated one.

Happy new year !!

Hi

Hi Shankar - I was pre-occupied with some visiting guests from India and they are still around for the next few days.
We plan something for the following weekend 9th or 10th Jan ?
Like you mentioned lets start the vote process early and take a count. Even if we dont have too many I think the 4 of us would be quite a handful to start with.

thanks
Ram

True.. once we gain some momentum and regularity, we should see some interest coming up.

Ajit? should we fix for Friday or Saturday?

Also better to put up another fresh post, on events gathering and not just MBA.

Cheers!!

Hi Ram, Did you have any first Party? How was it? how many attended?

It was pretty good - we had a small event - 5 of us. I think it went well and after that we all were so pumped that we went out to a Hindi bar and drank and sang more. I generally pull the strings during the home karaoke i.e keep the remote in my hand - the moment somebody starts shouting instead of singing, I turn down the volume
