do tenants agree to fix walls etc. because of nails for hanging paintings? isn't this general wear and tear? anyone have a sample tenancy agreement? thanks!

I have not seen it outlined in my agreement but at 2 month rent I suspect that I will take care of the holes before I leave. In the place I am in all the walls are concrete so I may not have many holes to fill. I see that 3M "stick on anything" tape everywhere here so that may also be an option.

In our case, yes we are expected to fill the holes and paint over when we move out.
