6.5th regular meet up - 7th March 2009 Saturday YUM CHA

Post by Moonriver » Wed, 25 Feb 2009 8:32 pm

All people who miss speak Cantonese are welcomed to join us.

Date: 7 March 2009
Venue: To be announced privately by sms/email on 3 March 2009
Time: 12:30pm lunch

If you are interested in joining us, please read the pointers below CAREFULLY:

a. APPLICATION WILL BE CLOSED ON 2 March 2009. =;

b. In reply to this thread, add your name onto the name list below by copying and pasting. If you don't do that, we'll lose you!

c. If you have never met Moonriver personally, please add your name onto the 'New Members' list + PM your phone number & email address to to Moonriver. (If you're unable to PM us, please let us know by posting it here in this thread so that we'll initiate the PM for you.) Please note that there will be a limit to the number of new members each time in proportion to the number of regular members who has signed up. This is to decrease the risk of 'no shows'. We'd appreciate your understanding in regards to this matter. [-o<

Your seat will only be guaranteed if you have fulfilled 'b' or 'c' above. (If you HAVE MET Moonriver personally, there's no need to PM her.)

d. You may withdraw your name from the list if you can't make it or you decided that you would not enjoy the cuisine/restaurant we've chosen for a certain month after you've applied. Please do not feel bad doing so and you don't even have to state your reason.

If there is ever a NO SHOW, no future application will be entertained. :tongue:

Wow, thanks for coming even with the night shift finishing at 8am. =D> Is that your regular work hour?

The reason why I can't push back the yum cha timing is because all restaurants, except a few, close at 3pm for lunch break. :( We once stayed on for just 15 mins longer and we all saw the staff's black/long faces! :x

But having said that, don't worry, we're always the last ones to leave the restaurant no matter what time you come. :lol: We don't mind you being late as long as you tell us so beforehand. The only problem for you is that there'll be less people sharing the food you order when you come 'cause depending on the time you get there, we may all be full by then! :oops!: Which also means to say that you'll naturally enjoy less variety of dim sum. :( If you don't mind all that, you're more than welcome to join us! We'd all appreciate your effort for coming despite your horrible work hours. O:)
