Pretty typical here I'd say. They treat their people here the same way. Once you have hit a theoretical age, you are put out to pasture whether you are still useful or not. Life is cheap in Asia.

I'd love to have the dog, but as I live in an HDB flat, again, in all their stupidity/wisdom here, like cats, they're not allowed. (The fact that I have a nice park in front of my flat and it's a 2nd story walk-up nevermind). :(
SOME PEOPLE TRY TO TURN BACK THEIR ODOMETERS. NOT ME. I WANT PEOPLE TO KNOW WHY I LOOK THIS WAY. I'VE TRAVELED A LONG WAY, AND SOME OF THE ROADS WEREN'T PAVED. ~ Will Rogers

aw. :( i would like to but we already have a dog..ours is a labrador retriever mix. we also live in an HDB, p.s. dont tell anyone.

when we moved tho we initially encountered some resistance from our landlord she told us to lose the dog...We told her wed move out and want the money back so she eventually said its ok. as long as neighbors dont complain.

i hope you find a nice owner for him..maybe post also in the classified ads?

Thanks morenangpinay,

If he doesn't find a place, I'm in contact with NOAH's ARK in JB to bring him there but of course I'll sponsor his upkeep.
Hope you can help spread the word.

If it comes to the JB thing let me know i'll pitch in on the costs with you. I hate stories like this .

Pity they didn;t retire him early, Mas selamat could have taken him to JB , might even have helped him paddle :D

Hi husticia, I would be very interested in finding out more about this... My wife and I are new to Singapore and looking for a Lab as we speak...

Let me know how we can move this forward, I am only a newbie so I don’t think I can PM just yet...

Thanks

Andy.
