Gynaecologist recommendation

Post by Pixies » Mon, 09 Nov 2009 11:48 am

I am very lucky to have chanced upon a fantastic gynecologist when I came to Singapore - so I wanted to share his information for everyone else out there.

He is Dr. E H Tay at Thomson Women Cancer Centre (http://www.thomsonwomencancer.com.sg/team_tay.html) - and he specializes in the treatment of uterine fibroids and cancers. He also puts in IUD's.

He performed a laparoscopic myomectomy on me last month and I'm thrilled with the results. Obviously having surgery is a very scary experience, but he was very thorough answering my questions, has a very gentle and reassuring bedside manner, and works with a fantastic team of nurses too.

His clinic number is: 6591 8218

I was wondering if treatment (cauterization or cryotherapy) for cervical erosion is also available at the Center?

May be someone can advise a good hospital for such a procedure with a reasonable price? I really need help.

I think they do. Just call and find out... The nurses answer the phone and will be able to let you know if Dr. Tay does that or not. And can probably recommend another doctor if not.
