Beaches in Singapore are nothing to harp about. East Coast Park and Sentosa are the best there is.

There is an abundance of nightlife in Singapore. Zouk, Phuture, Butter Factory, Zirca, SupperClub and Social House are some of the biggest names in clubs. Good water holes can be found around Clarke Quay, Boat Quay (personal fav), Orchard Towers and many other places. If you're looking to chill, don't forget to visit Arab Street for some amazing shishas/ hookahs.

Yeah I am agreed with Adam..these are the only 2 beaches N some night hang out spots..but during ur stay you can roam/visit near by places in Mal /Indoneisa..

Just for your information,any condo's or housing near the beach or near your work place is damn expensive if you dun mind me using the word. Try looking around for other places as you can have easy access to the beach or even to your work place by public transport which will easily take yo to the place you desire in less than an hour depending on where you are .

Hey I am 23F most likely relocating to Sinapore early next year. I would love some info about cost of living and accommodation, preferably near the Singapore General Hospital area.

Any information would be appreciated as I haven't yet accepted a job position and need to determine whether salary is going to be sustainable!

I was just wonerdering if you had luck with accomdation. ive just got into singapore. im from the UK im a physio got a job at at singapore general hospital.. currently in a a backpackers whilst i find a place to live......

hey mkphysio. i'm a speech therapist. starting at SGH in early march. I would love to hear about accommodation if you find some! I am heading oseas in a week and by the time I get back to Aus I have 1 week to pack up and get to Singapore! So trying to get a bit of a heads up now!

Good luck finding accom. Hear the backpackers in singapore are pretty good tho for the meantime!
