hey all,, guys i was wondering if you could help me with my query.. pple i hv a friend who lost his job say abt last yr... and b4 losing his job his salary was 6200 singapore dollars... now he is thinking of moving to singapore.. he has reference letters from all his past employers and also salary slip... based on this can he apply for peronalised employement pass... right now he is not working...

P2 Pass holders
• P2 Pass holders that have at least two years' working experience on a P Pass. They should earn a fixed salary of at least $30,000 in the preceding year.

Q1 Pass holders
• Q1 Pass holders with at least five years' working experience on a Q1 pass. They should earn a fixed salary of at least $30,000 in the preceding year.

As the individual didn't earn over 7K/mo getting a PEP based on P1 does not apply. If the individual has not worked in Singapore under the above two categories for the stipulated times then you answer is no.

are these conditions applicable when the application is being submitted or does it apply for those who have worked in singapore five or 7 yrs back?

meaning:
lets say a person worked in singapore on Q pass for 4 yrs from 2000 to 2004 and then went abroad.
After some time say 6 yrs, he wants to come back to singapore and work, then will these conditions apply even for him at the time of application?
Becoz, according the conditions, this person is ineligible as he has only 4 yrs of work on Q Pass and for PEP, one is required to have 5 yrs with Q pass... Does the time when the person worked in Singapore come in matter or is it only when the time of application?

It says AT LEAST 2 or 5 years depending on the pass. Additionally if it says $30K in the PRECEDING year, then I doubt very seriously if it's been 6 years ago, and you still did not meet the requirements. However, why don't you submit anyway and let us know how it goes.
