Female gynae recommendations at Thomson Medical Centre

Post by ASP1 » Fri, 26 Mar 2010 8:56 am

Hello, I'm in my first trimester and starting to go through the process of trying to find a nice gynae at Thomson Medical Centre. I see Dr Paul Tseng gets lots of good reviews, but am veering towards wanting a female gynae......anyone got any recommendations for one that is pro-natural and affordable?!

Thanks :)

I was with Dr Sim Lee Ngor at the L N Sim Clinic for Women, on the 4th Floor at TMC. Tel: 63539270.

We didn't have medical insurance so from a cost point of view I thought she was very reasonable. After 12 weeks she offers a Maternity Package at around $700 which covers your monthly check ups till birth. In that she will check your blood pressure, urine, weight and will do a scan each time so you can build up a good photo collection before your baby's born!

I had quite a few decisions to make in terms of my baby and how he was delivered - she gives her opinion but also lets you know what your options are so you can make decisions for yourself rather than feel pushed into something.

I know allot of friends who went to Dr Paul Seng, although he is good, he is also very busy and my friends often felt their appointments were often a bit rushed.

If you would like any further info, please PM me.

I like Dr Caroline whose office is beside Dr Paul Seng
in TMC. She is gentle and friendly. Hope this helps!

Thank you both for your thoughts - we have to pay for this ourselves as well so am hoping to find someone we like and who fits with our budget.

Hi,
I'm with WK tan from TMC. She's pretty well known and experienced.
