Hi, i have a 4 year old boy who will be starting kindergarten after summer.
initially, we tried a local kindergarten. he enrolled for nursery and absolutely loved his time there. but beginning this year in k1, my son became increasingly unhappy with the school. there was a sudden gear change from un/directed play to academics. and at the end of term 1, things weren't working out.
now, i'm homeschooling him until i find a more appropriate school.
Have been visiting the above schools. does anyone have kids there? and what's your opinion? i'm looking for a school with a balanced approach on academics & sports, extracurriculars etc.
