Hello everyone. I'm going to be working at Suntec City when I move to Singapore, and I'm trying to find an apartment that's not inconveniently located. I also like being near sail boats, since I like sailing on weekends. So I found this
condo (the Caribbean) near Keppel Bay, where I read there is sailing. The nearest MRT is Harbourfront. I wonder if anyone could tell me how long the MRT and taxi ride from there to Suntec would be and if it's a bad idea to live that far (I assume it isn't close).
Thanks in advance...

You can get travelling directions from gothere.sg or google maps. Both will give you a guesstimate of travel time as well.

I would recommend that you check out some waterfront
condominium in Tanjong Rhu (it's just the river across Suntec). Many CBD / Suntec expats stays there. Shuttle bus service to Suntec. At times, there are expats walking to work at Suntec from Tanjong Rhu
condominium.
Condo there:
Costa Rhu
Pebble Bay
Check it out.

And if you want to go a little further afield somewhere along the East Coast would suit. Plenty of sailing along East Coast Park and the bus services are frequent and reliable to Suntec.

The EP will take precedence. Not to worry on that count. If LTVP already approved, EP will automatically cancel the LTVP. Not to worry on that count...
