Please share your thoughts on the below , I am Indian PR and wish to
What are the things I need to look into before i get married.

where is the best place to get married.

should I apply for dependent pass after marraige or should i apply for dependent PR.

please share your thoughts.

This has been discussed at length . Go to the search button under the profile link and type PR marrying foreigner etc.
You need to get permission from MOM before getting married.
If your gf has worked in SG before under Work Permit, more than ever you need to get MOM approval

where is the best place to get married.

currently my GF is working in Philipines, what is the best way to bring her here, is it getting married in sg or in philipines.
Either here or both. Make sure get permission before ROM in SG. Marriage of covenience is a ploy that ICA is always on the lookout

If you are PR you CANNOT apply DP . You should apply LTSVP

I actually wondered the same thing!

But then, see he's on the wrong forum, at least if he's an Indian PR (I don't know why anybody would want to voluntarily go to India and take up PR)

I think your native English language skills need to be updated to globalised English standards.

What he meant is that he is an Indian who is a PR in Singapore. This is the modern sms generation English.

Sorry could be the generation gap

MS, he's just another example of the low quality of "foreign talent" we are seeing here now. He is a good example of why the local population is up in arms.

Obviously his "global" English is only used by the "Indian" diaspora and not the the Native English speaking world at large, so he can be forgiven as he's a good example why Singapore recognizes so very few Indian universities.

No one got bashed if you cared to read the OP Post. It was meant to be a tongue in cheek phrase. It became to this when senkalmag post to SMS. If you cared to read his/her other postings, you would know what I meant .

I was trying to poke back at senkalmag for barking AT THE WRONG TREE. That is all. Base on the IP address you can roughly guess where they are from.
