Ear tubes and toddlers

My daughter has ear tubes put in when we were in Houston. It is pretty common there - is it common for toddlers to get tubes in Singapore? I would like to take my daughter to a pediatrician who can check her ears and just make sure they have not fallen or clogged with wax.

Any parents who have gone through this?

never heard of the term "glue ear" - sorry

I do not have personal experience with it, but I know (through my work - I am not ENT though) quite a number of children with grommets. Of course they use it in Singapore, if needed.
And yes, sometimes people use them with condition called "glue ear" - in general the fluid that gather in the inner ear tends to be thicker, so i guess that's where the "glue" name comes from.

I cannot recommend anyone specific, though.
