I have just moved to Singapore, is there a local team (proffesional) and where do they play?

the professional soccer league in Singapore is the S-League. it has teams that are locally based as well as teams originating from elsewhere, such as japan and china. the thing about the S-league is that they can't get it to grow in popularity. you often hear about match fixing allegations and the whole league seems to be plagued by bad attitudes. but if you really want to play for a living, sometimes they have open tryouts.

there are better amateur teams in SG such as Singapore Cricket Club fc..

I have been along to a few S league games now and I really like it. The supporters are friendly and its only $5 to get in, at last something cheap in Singapore!

I think I am too old to play in this heat now anyway,
