People interested in filmmaking

I've searched around this forum for a bit and it seems like filmmaking posts were all dated from 2009 and older. Can someone direct me to a filmmaking thread which is 2012/13 onwards? Or this thread may just very well be it

Anyways, are there any aspiring filmmakers/actors out there? I have no background in filmmaking but I have experience in video editing. How about you? Lets have a mini sharing session over here!
