:D :D :D

But the Euro 2004 EC Greece did show it is not always a battle of the favorites...

When looking at the list though, I cannot find an outsider that I'd give the credits for making it to the final... :-|

Except for Mexico....

This may seem far fetched at this moment but one team I have always thought unlucky to have never qualified before till now and have always rooted for on the side...

is Ghana.

Secretly I hope they pull of a 'Greece'.

But then, I would say that, wouldn't I?

Also, Superedge, clicked on your link, thinking was going to find out something interesting....and it's all in, is it Spanish?

How I wish I could make head or tail of it.....

French I could do a bit, but other languages, apart from my native one, are like a puzzle.

Do you think there really is a 'gene' for learning languages?
hi,
I think you saw my website, if yes then that was portuguese :)

I do not know about a gene for learning languages ( I myself can speak 5, mostly latin languages ), but certainly some people learn faster than others. Some studies indicates that intelligences are specific so we never say 'x is more intelligent than y', but 'x is more intelligent than y in that particular subject'.

And I was told that's not really what the singaporeans think about 'smart kids', intelligence here in general means 'good grades' and not 'good solutions' or 'good thinking'. I understand also that lots of people also question about the local 'inteligence' indicators. I am here just repeating what friends told me, I do not know much about Spore educational system... but that's subject for another topic than football ;)

If I were to put money on it then Brazil, but obviously I hope England will do it, '66 was a long time ago
the years of not winning a WC is not a strong reason. otherwise, this year will be Dutch, as they have never won one. :D
