22M UK Just Arrived

Hi guys,
I arrived in Singapore last week, well the 9th , to begin a new job.

I have been getting myself involved in the company socially, e.g. the company football team, but I would also like to meet others including perhaps other expatriates.

I am up for anything, whether it is exploring the city, its various nature reserves and attractions, going shopping, going to the cinema or various other social activities. Just ask

I thought it would be prudent to give an insight into my hobbies and interests:

Musician - Electric Guitarist predominantly playing Metal, Hard Rock/Guitar Instrumental, Flamenco and Classical (A bit of a jump I know) My Influences are too varied and numerous to list. Again just ask.

Airpower Enthusiast. Fast Jets, what more can I say (The need for speed)

Computer Science. I am tempted to downplay this for social conformity but that would be disingenuous. I built my ow computer; don't be scared

Meanderings of Politics, Economics, History and Philosophy; but who doesn't

This Saturday and Sunday I will be busy looking for accommodation throughout the day. However I should be free in the evening

I am not a big drinker but am happy to have a few drinks none the less

How have you been settling in? Im 21/UK/M, also arrived last week to begin a new job and still getting to grips with the whole singaporian lifestyle.

If you want, as we'r both new, maybe plan something in the upcoming weeks? I still havn't done much sight seeing so that could be an idea.

I've also recently moved to Singapore for a job, and am looking to meet people. Just a bit about me, I'm 22 and from America. Hi, I am adjusting nicely, a lot more settled now.
I am not much of a drinker to be honest, I have effectively stopped drinking outside of my residence, alcohol is prohibitively expensive and I struggle to stay awake in clubs (I think my dislike of the music wears me down).
Nevertheless I would be happy to go out and stuff and go to pubs, I just drink non-alcoholic beverages; I do this frequently with arab friends.
