"Proceed to upload documents" button is missing in ICA Website

Hey guys, just a little update. My button disappeared last Monday 12-Jun, and then the CFP shortcut disappear last Friday on my Singpass, today I login to Singpass and found that the CFP shortcut re-appeared, then I tried to proceed and found out that I could finally proceed to where I couldn't before, and there's a ICA reference number(different than the PR application ref no.) instead of saying I'm not a PR so I'm not eligible, does it mean my PR got approved?

The last thing that you would want is your PR being approved and also cancelled later as you tried to tress-pass into a government system? why don't you wait for 2 more weeks for the outcome?

Good Morning!! I have been following posts in this Forum and they are really helpful. We are Indians staying in Singapore from 2012 and both husband and Wife working on EP. We have 2 kids both boys and younger one born in SG and age 5 and 2 yrs old. Just want to check on our case if you can help us to provide your thoughts. We applied PR in Dec 2022 and our upload document button disabled on 15th June 2023 and 2 hours before this we got call from ICA officer asking to upload passport back copies. As my husband know that we uploaded all documents earlier so he explained officer where to look for documents and he was able to find them out and also my passport will expire in October and i have got the new passport already and when my husband asked him whether to send my new passport details he mentioned that we can just change it at the counter itself and he said no pending action from us and will finalize decision on Thursday itself. Did any one been in to the same situation earlier. Will ICA call directly instead of asking through website or email? How long does it take to get the result after button is missing? What are our chances of Approval?

Possible, but don't think too much of it. Could very well be nothing.

Nowadays, too many applicants have extreme anxiety over the process, and take any little thing to be a "sign".

I know mate, but you can imagine how people want to know the result as early as possible because to some of us it is huge or even life changing

We've all been in your shoes, as important as the outcome may be, It's important not to let the process consume you. Just take things as they come.

A quick update: My PR(including my wife and 2 daughters) got approved one day after I saw ICA Ref No. on CPF Digital Services~ 7 months of waiting, it's not too bad right?

I got an email from ICA at 3:50 am this morning, thank you guys for sharing your experience on this forum, I wish you all the best of luck in the future:)

But the outcome doesn't change either way, does it? I didn't, and wouldn't do this personally, but I can see why others might.

But the outcome doesn't change either way, does it? I didn't, and wouldn't do this personally, but I can see why others might.

I don't know if it could/would or not. But I do know that it is a vindictive government (LKY legacy) and it is hard to say what they may use as an excuse to trim the numbers of approval. It's like the so called 6 months to apply for PR. While it's written on the site, it a rare happenstance if it does happen, with 2 years being the realistic norms. What they write and what they do are often two entirely different things. Why do they need a spouse's Family CV? They don't always ask for it, but they occasionally do. They don't' have to answer to any other ministry or the PM for that matter. ICA officers are not to be trifled with. Who knows? If they were to think that this chap is too clever for our liking as he's prone not to follow protocol.......
