To say that Hai Di Lao is a global phenomenon is pretty much an understatement. From a tiny little hotpot eatery in Jianyang, Sichuan Province in 1994, the brand has expanded to a whopping 593 restaurants across 12 countries and they’re alldirectly-operated,which is another feat in itself. In Singapore, Haidilao opened in Clarke Quay in 2013 — the company’s first overseas venture — and to date, they have 12 outlets across the country.Today, Hai Di Lao in China is kind of like a standard destination for company dinners and lavish birthday celebrations. In Singapore, Hai Di Lao has become a staple brand in our very competitive food landscape. We break down the individual reasons why Hai Di Lao is so well loved right here:18 reasons why people love Hai Di Lao
