A seafood restaurant where the ingredients are fresh and all the cooking is done by yourself? That's Sea Tripod Seafood Paradise in a nutshell, a humble restaurant that's a paradise of fresh seafood, with many of the produce served straight out of the tank to your table. You lay the ingredients onto a circular steamer, then close the lid and specify how long you want the food to be steamed for; waitstaff will be around to give recommendations for how long the different items should be steamed for, but it's up to you to do it however you want. There's no seasoning, no preservatives, just the pure flavours of the ocean.MUST TRIES: Make sure to try the Fresh Australian Jade Tiger Abalone. The tiger prawns are large and fresh, and the Scotland Bamboo Clams are soft and slightly spongy once steamed well. The best thing, though, is the bowl of porridge laid under the steamer; all the juices of steamed seafood will flow down to infuse a bowl of porridge with a mildly sweet, seafood-y flavour. Who knew porridge could be so delicious even without any condiments or seasoning?
