Nam Hwa Chiang Fish Head Steamboat Restaurant 南华昌鱼头炉

Nam Hwa Chiang was originated way back in 1940s from the initial setting in a coffeeshop to a restaurant near Lim Tua Road in Serangoon. Presently, Nam Hwa Chiang no longer serves only fish head steamboat. It also has a host of Sze Cha items on its menu. Restaurant –style presentation but still at economical sze cha prices, that’s the reason why old customers continue to track Nam Hwa Chiang wherever it moves!The current boss cum chef, Mr Lim Thai Pheng has manipulated Nam Hwa Chiang’s signature dish - Fish head steamboat, to include more variety for customers. There are now 5 different fishes to choose from – Pomfret, Red Snapper, Red Garoupa, Black Garoupa and ‘Song’ Fish!There are more than 90 Sze Cha dishes! The Yam Duck (available on pre-order) is one innovation by Chef Lim. Other specialties include Thai Style Fried Trotter, Coffee Pork Ribs, Fried Pig Intestines, Prawn Paste Chicken, Cuttlefish with Kang Kong and more!
